The 4th annual Cranksgiving ride will be held on November 15th Noon at the Atomic Cowboy to help out our friends at Food Outreach. Brought to you by Will Cycle for Charity and Trailnet, and sponsored by Big Shark Bicycle.

NEW INFO AT THE BOTTOM
The Cranksgiving tradition has spread across the country, with events held in Los Angeles; Chicago; St. Louis; Madison, WI; and Des Moines, Iowa, among others. We are proud to say that St. Louis has one of the largest events in the country. Last year we hosted almost 200 riders who collected 2452 food items.
What happens at a Cranksgiving ride is that cyclists gather where they are given a shopping list of specific items needed by a local food pantry, plus a map of stores along a specific route (10 or 25 miles) from which to buy these items
A typical shopping list will have a dozen or so items, and maybe set back the riders $10-20. It’s a terrific way to kick off the holiday season and be out on your bike, doing something good with the community alongside your fellow cyclists. Plus, it’s an early start on burning off all the calories you’ll be inhaling during November and December.
After the ride we will be hanging out at the Atomic Cowboy, please stay to enjoy a beer or dinner with everyone who joined in this year’s ride.
and check out all the photos from last year
We are grateful to Big Shark and Trialnet for the help in making this event possible:
