Under a sweltering morning sun, a steady stream of sedans, vans and pick-up trucks slowly snaked through the BDS headquarters parking lot in St. Louis Wednesday, stopping only as long as it took for employees to pull out one or more bikes and wheel them over to a waiting tractor trailer.
Employees dropped off more than 200 bicycles for St. Louis Bicycle Works, that will use the donations to help at-risk children become more responsible, increase physical activity, and learn the benefits of recycling.
“A lot of our people love to ride bikes, and we appreciate what you are doing for St. Louis,” Muilenburg told BicycleWORKS volunteers who staffed the Boeing drive. “We’re glad we could partner with you.”
A huge thanks goes out o everyone that could help.
